Remembrance Day

Today, the academy marked Remembrance Day with a two minute silence observed by the whole community. While students observed the silence in their classrooms, Ruby Stannard in Year 11 played the last post in the courtyard in the centre of the academy. This was a beautiful yet haunting experience and we thank Ruby for her contribution to our remembrance. Ruby was well supported today by staff and GCSE music students who came outside to watch and listen.
