School Meals and Cashless Catering

Food at Flegg is prepared by our in-house Catering team using fresh, locally sourced ingredients as far as possible.

There is a wide variety of choice of healthy and nutritious options in line with national nutritional standards.

Breaktime choices include ciabatta, homemade pizza slices, freshly baked croissant and toast with beans or spaghetti hoops, sausage rolls and bacon baps.

Lunchtime options include a hot main meal with vegetarian option, pasta pots, a salad bar, hot “sub” rolls, sandwiches and wraps, homemade flapjacks, cakes and biscuits.

We use a cashless catering system. Every student has an account that can be topped up using the schools online payment system through our website. Children claiming for Free School Meals are treated the same as everyone else. Their accounts are automatically credited every day and they can choose at lunchtime from any of the options available.
